Erika F. Werner, MD, MS, is the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University and the Louis E. Phaneuf Teaching & Research Professor of Gynecology at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Werner is a national expert on diabetes in pregnancy, preeclampsia and cost-effective practices in obstetrics. She has won numerous teaching awards including from the National Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology, been recognized by the March of Dimes for her research in prematurity, and is on the board of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
