Dhanunjaya Lakkireddy MD, FACC, FHRS

Dr. Lakkireddy is the Executive Medical Director of the Kansas City Heart Rhythm Institute at HCA Midwest in Overland Park, Kansas and an adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a highly-published author with > 350 peer-reviewed papers and abstracts in various national and international meetings and journals. His clinical practice is focused on a wide variety of arrhythmia management and their ablation and pacemaker and ICD/CRT-D therapies. He has done extensive research on oral anticoagulation and systemic thromboembilization, publishing seminal papers on uninterrupted oral anticoagulation during procedures; the connection between myocarditis and premature ventricular contractions and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy; and is internationally known for his expertise in left atrial appendage closure devices.
