Désirée Ratner MD
Clinical Professor, Dermatology, NYU Langone Health, New York, New YorkDesiree Ratner, M.D., is in private practice in New York City and serves as Clinical Professor of Dermatology at NYU Langone Health. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and did her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. She subsequently completed a two year Mohs Surgery fellowship at New England Medical Center and the Lahey Clinic. She served as Director of Dermatologic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for over 15 years, and as Director of the Comprehensive Skin Cancer Center at Mount Sinai Beth Israel for over five years. She is Co-Editor of the Dermatologic Surgery Journal and Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has over 125 publications and has done numerous national and international presentations. She specializes in the management of patients with high-risk skin cancers and in facial reconstruction.
