David M. Kastenberg MD

David Kastenberg, MD, is a The J. Edward Berk Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition, he is the Enterprise Director of Gastroenterology for Jefferson Health. For many consecutive years, Dr. Kastenberg has been recognized as an outstanding clinician by organizations such as Castle Connelly and Philadelphia Magazine. Dr. Kastenberg’s research interests include the prevention and detection of colorectal cancer, purgatives (and tools for assessing the adequacy of cleansing) for the small bowel and colon, and improvements in the clinical practice of gastroenterology.
