David Bitterman, a summa cum laude graduate of Queens College, CUNY, led groundbreaking research during his undergraduate career, developing fluorogenic biosensors and uncovering key mechanisms in DNA repair. After graduation, he shared his knowledge by teaching Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology to thousands of students at Queens College. David completed a research fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Jared Jagdeo at the VA New York Harbor Medical Center – Brooklyn Campus before entering his fourth year of medical school, during which he continues to conduct dermatologic research. To date, he has published 13 manuscripts in leading dermatology journals.
