Daniel J. Wallace MD FACP, MACR
Clinical Professor of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLADr. Daniel Wallace is a rheumatologist practicing in Los Angeles, California. He is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. His clinical practice is based at Cedars-Sinai, where he is involved in the care of 2000 lupus patients and co-directs the Cedars-Sinai rheumatology fellowship program. He is widely involved in research, and has published over 340 articles and 25 book chapters. His studies have been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as The Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, and JAMA. He is the author of 8 medical textbooks, including the last 6 editions of Dubois' Lupus Erythematosus.
Dr. Wallace’s volunteer work has been extensive. He has served as chairman of the Lupus Foundation of America, the Research and Education Foundation of the American College of Rheumatology, and has served on the board of directors of the United Scleroderma Foundation, the Lupus Research Institute, and the American Society for Apheresis, among involvement in other professional organizations.
After receiving his medical degree from UCLA, Dr. Wallace completed medical residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship in rheumatology at UCLA.
