Born in British Columbia, Chris received her Pharmacy degree in Canada and her PharmD in Buffalo, New York. After working pediatric critical care and infectious disease, she left practice to work in the pharmaceutical industry. Her career spanned 26 years at Amgen, Aurinia, and Arcutis. Currently, she is retired and consults ad hoc. Chris also serves as a patient research partner for GRAPPA and is on the Board of Directors for the National Psoriasis Foundation.
