Christina Magnussen is a German interventional cardiologist and the head of the Heart Failure Department at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. She has a twelve years' experience in cardiology with the focus on the management of end-stage heart failure. Her scientific working group is based on the interface of population science and the transition of its new insights into clinical practice. Working on large scale population data with the aim to further itemize the development of cardiovascular disease and its phenotypes gets her up in the morning.
