Dr. Charles F. Sherrod IV graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He was recruited back to Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute and the University of Missouri – Kansas City for a NIH T32 Fellowship in Cardiovascular Outcomes Research in combination with his General Cardiology Fellowship. During his fellowship, he has been awarded a Young Trialist Award from the CVCT and an Early Career Investigator Award from the American Heart Association’s GWTG-Resuscitation Registry. He is interested in understanding how to improve the use of patient-reported outcomes in clinical trials to aid in translation to clinical practice.
