She serves on committees for the Endocrine Society and is Chair of the Diabetes Disease State Network for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. Her current clinical research interests include diabetes and cardiovascular disease, digital interventions for diabetes in rural communities, hospital dysglycemia and use of diabetes technology, post-discharge management of diabetes, stem cell therapy for diabetic foot ulcer, and pragmatic trials in cardiometabolic oncology.
