Brent Siesky PhD
Assistant Director, Glaucoma Research and Diagnostic Center, Research Associate, Department of Ophthalmology, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana USADr. Brent Siesky is an internationally recognized expert in the field of glaucoma and imaging techniques for the assessment of ocular blood flow and vascular physiology in ophthalmic disease. His specialized areas of interest include investigating disease risk factors in minorities, female gender, and vulnerable populations. He is the Assistant Director of the Glaucoma Research and Diagnostic Center, one of the word leading centers for the evaluation of ocular hemodynamics and metabolism. Dr. Siesky serves on the Diversity Committee for the Department of Ophthalmology at Indiana University School of Medicine, and is an Associate Faculty Member of the Faculty of 1000 Research. He is the co-Director of two ophthalmology courses at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he has mentored dozens of medical, STEM, and undergraduate students.
Dr. Siesky is the member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology since 2001, and serves as journal reviewer and editor for dozens of ophthalmology journals including: Acta Ophthalmologica, the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science, and the British Journal of Ophthalmology. His invited lectures include presentations at UCLA, and Lisbon and Coimbra Portugal.
