Professor Emeritus of Surgery and Global-Health Medicine, University of Washington, Seattle, WashingtonDr. Ben Anderson, an internationally recognized leader in global cancer control, is Professor Emeritus of Surgery and Global Health Medicine at the University of Washington (UW). As Surgical Director of the Breast Health Clinic at the UW and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, he has cared for patients with breast health issues and diseases for more than 25 years. Dr. Anderson serves on the Board of Directors of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). He also serves as advisor to the World Health Organization (WHO) for cancer-related issues.
His clinical interests include oncoplastic breast surgery and cosmetic outcomes in breast conservation surgery.
