Ayca Gucalp MD
Hematology/Oncology Fellow at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New YorkDr. Gucalp received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and underwent residency training in internal medicine at New York University Medical Center. She served as chief resident for the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and is currently undergoing a fellowship there in hematology and medical oncology, with a special interest in breast cancer. Dr. Gucalp has been involved in research, predominantly in the area of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Her current research focuses mainly on targeting the androgen receptor signaling pathway for the treatment of TNBC. For this work, she has been awarded young investigator awards from both the Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO and the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation.
