Audrey Merriam MD, MS
Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, Yale School of Medicine, New Haven, ConnecticutDr. Merriam is an Assistant Professor in the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences in the division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine and the Residency Program Director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
Originally from upstate New York, she attended medical school at the University of Vermont. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Columbia University in NYC. While at Columbia she obtained a master’s degree in Biostatistics from the Mailman School of Public Health.
She has severed on the Junior Fellow Advisory Council for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and as the fellow representative to the board for the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is the co-chair of the formed Maternal Mortality Review Committee for the state of Connecticut and the Director of the Yale Diabetes in Pregnancy Program. She has multiple ongoing studies in the areas of diabetes and maternal health.
