Shah, MD, MBA, is a resident physician in the Division of Urology’s training program at the University of Pennsylvania. He attended an 8-year combined degree program at Union College (NY) and Albany Medical College through which he obtained a BS in Biology and Sociology, an MBA in healthcare management and his medical degree. Dr. Shah was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha during his last year of medical school and graduated among the top of his class. He is currently in his fourth year of residency. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, and urologic oncology. His research interests include patient safety, quality improvement and organizational efficiency. He has presented at regional and national meetings of the American Urological Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Shah will be receiving a certificate in Healthcare Leadership in Quality Track at Penn, and he is a representative for his division on the Patient Safety Collaborative within Penn Medicine.
