Andrew Canakis is a third-year gastroenterology fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center. After fellowship, he plans on pursuing an advanced endoscopy fellowship with a focus on therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound. His research interests focus on endoscopic clinical outcomes, pancreaticobiliary diseases and other advanced therapeutic techniques.
