Amelia L. Sattler MD
Primary Care Medical Director of Integrated Behavioral Health; Associate Medical Director, Stanford Healthcare AI Applied Research Team, Division of Primary Care and Population Health, Department of Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CaliforniaDr. Amelia Sattler is an ebullient family physician and problem-solver. She was born and raised in Eureka, California, graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and ventured to the tundra of Rochester, Minnesota to pursue her MD at Mayo Medical School. She returned to California to train at Stanford's O'Connor Family Medicine Residency Program. After residency she joined Stanford Family Medicine, where she continues to see patients.
Dr. Sattler is an Associate Medical Director of the Stanford Healthcare AI Applied Research Team ("HEART") and works with teams to study and implement AI technologies to solve specific, practical problems in healthcare. She is also the Primary Care Medical Director of Integrated Behavioral Health and is partnering with psychiatry, social work and primary care teams to build a collaborative care model at Stanford Primary Care.
