Dr. Alyssa (A.A.) Toorop completed her medical training at VU University in Amsterdam and graduated cum laude from medical school in 2019. Following graduation, she began her PhD at the MS Center Amsterdam of Amsterdam UMC, focusing on personalized therapy with natalizumab and ocrelizumab in multiple sclerosis. During her PhD, she participated in clinical shifts at the Neurology department and worked at the esteemed University College London, United Kingdom. Her medical interests include Rehabilitation Medicine, Neurology, research, and teaching. In 2024, she will begin her residency in Rehabilitation Medicine.
