Alexis Bernat graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University in May 2023, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism and a Master’s degree in Nutrition. Her research background includes acting as a student researcher in cellular biology and melanoma at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Lerner Research Institute under Dr. Joshua Arbesman. She is currently in her second year of school at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Alexis is currently working as a visiting researcher under Dr. Arbesman in clinical research.
