She graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.S. in Microbiology, then obtained her DMD degree from The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. She completed the General Practice Residency and Oral Medicine Residency programs at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Her job responsibilities at VCU include teaching, completing consultations in the student & resident clinics, and seeing patients in the VCU Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine Clinic. She treats patients with oral lesions and oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland disorders and taste disorders, Burning Mouth Syndrome, oral manifestations of systemic disease and cancer therapies, temporomandibular disorders, and some neuropathic pain disorders.
