Alessandro Mannucci, MD, graduated from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy, and is currently a medical resident specializing in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy at San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy. Additionally, he serves as a researcher at the Department of Molecular Diagnostics and Experimental Therapeutics at the Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope, Duarte, CA.

Dr. Mannucci has dedicated his research career to the study of cancer since the beginning of his medical journey and has made significant contributions to the field. His primary research focus lies in gastrointestinal cancer, specifically hereditary cancer syndromes and young-onset cancers. His work encompasses the management of young-onset cancers, identification and treatment of hereditary cancer syndromes, as well as early detection and prevention of gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Mannucci's research endeavors have earned him national and international recognition, including prestigious honors.

He is a member of the European Hereditary Tumor Group (EHTG), Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Gastrointestinal Cancers (CGA-IGC), and Società Italiana di Gastroenterologia ed Endoscopia (SIGE). Additionally, Dr. Mannucci actively engages in peer-review activities for scientific journals.
