Dr. Abdulmunaim Eid is a neurologist and a Movement Disorders Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis. He graduated from Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine at Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt in 2015. Subsequently, he completed a neurology residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston, Texas in 2022 and a one-year neuroimaging fellowship at the same institution in 2023. He is certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2022. Dr. Eid conducted laboratory and clinical research in neurodegenerative dementias funded by Burroughs Wellcome Fund through Texas A&M Academy of Physician Scientists. Currently, as a fellow at Washington University, Dr. Eid is training in movement disorders and spends most of his time studying the neurobiological basis of degenerative parkinsonism using neuroimaging tools supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health and the American Parkinson Disease Association.
